MAC Scholarship Application Process The MAC Scholarship is only available to students who were accepted into the MAC Program as high school seniors through the MAC Grant. The MAC Scholarship is $5,000 for a student’s third and fourth year of college. It is divided into $1,250 per semester for a maximum of four semester or until the student receives his or her bachelor’s degree. Students are required to have a 3.0 GPA and 60 college credit hours by the end of their college sophomore year to apply.

The MAC Program will begin reviewing MAC Scholarship applications soon after December 1 and will contact students to set up a time for an interview during winter break before the beginning of the spring semester.

Final decisions for the MAC Scholarship will be made after transcripts are submitted on June 1. All applicants who are either accepted or declined will be notified by mail or email soon after June 1.

• Completed 60 credit hours at an institution of higher learning. • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. • MAC Grant awards vary and are based on need for tuition at MCC or TSTC. Students that choose to attend other colleges are not eligible their first two years but are eligible to apply for a MAC Scholarship.

• After completing the first two years, eligible students that apply can receive $2,500 in tuition for each of the final two years at a college of their choice. MAC Scholarships are provided by Mr. Clifton Robinson, Passport to Success Foundation (Mr. Malcolm Duncan and Waco Foundation.
