FireFox Stupidity Exemplified. I would say it is the users stupidity exemplified because the on-screen dialog box would have looked something like in this picture: User is stupid The user needs to click on the Advanced button and Add Exception to the said domain that is either using a invalid certificate or it is not configured correctly.

Either way, FF is not to be blamed because it only follows the messages it receives from the web server. --------------0401 Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit On 21:53, OG wrote: I opened IE and got immediate access then went back to FireFox to browse. Click on Apply and then OK button to save modifications. Lastly, restart your Windows machine. Your Connection is not secure is one of the common problems on Firefox & in order to troubleshoot, we need to understand the type of connection errors like The certificate is only valid for site. The message is 'Your connection is not secure' + 'The owner of forum.kaspersky.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.' And further explanation forum.kaspersky.com uses an invalid security certificate.

OG, if you do not get the advanced button then start Firefox in safe-mode, i.e.

Restart Firefox with add-ons disabled, and try the problem website again. After that follow Good Guy's instructions.
